National Consultant to the Case Management and Court Administration reforms advisory of the Legal and Judicial Capacity Building Project, Ministry of Law, Bangladesh

  • Assist project entities in understanding and introducing modern case management and court administration so as to improve the quality and pace of the civil justice delivery system, reduce backlog of cases, inspire confidence in the civil justice system amongst the stakeholders, make the system more accessible to the disadvantaged section of the people and institutionalize resolution of disputes out of court settlements.
  • Ensure and encourage active involvement of the judges, lawyers and court staff of the local bars for implementation of case management and court administration model.
  • Designing and implementing case management reform model and experiment the model and review it to develop a final implementation model.
  • Develop Tool Kits for training of judges and court staff in accordance with the final case management model.
  • Make specific recommendation for amendment of and changes of pertinent laws and rules that may be required. E.g. Code of Civil Procedure, Civil Rules and Orders, Civil Instructions Manual, Civil Courts Act, Specific Relief Act, Limitation Act, Suit Valuation Act, or other necessary statutes.
  • Make recommendation for specific changes, if deemed necessary, for case processing in specific matters like bank loan recovery, bankruptcy, domestic relations and small claims in the Money Loan Court Act, Bankruptcy Act, Family Court Ordinance, and Small Causes Courts Act etc.
  • Prepare draft rules, procedures and forms and submit the drafts before the SCPIC if changes in any rules, forms or procedures could be achieved under section 122 of the Code of Civil procedure.

medical for staffs.

  • Researched and analyzed Banking laws.
